Up until the Spring of 2006 all the personnel at CHASTE were giving their time on a voluntary basis. Now with the receipt of essential core funding the work of CHASTE can move more efficiently ahead with the appointment of a full-time housing officer and an administrator to accompany the CEO in the work of addressing this appalling wastage and abuse of human life.

 Charities can now claim back the tax paid on donations. Using Gift Aid means that for every £1 you give, the charity gets an extra 28p helping your donation go further. So every £10 you give the charity will get another £2.80 from the government. Plus, if you are a higher taxpayer you can claim tax relief on the donation in your annual tax return.
