Crown prosecution service - strategies and action plan on 'violence against women (VAW)' - Nov 2007
The Crown Prosecution service has published a future strategies and action plans consultation document on ‘Violence against women'. This is important with regard to the wider implication this has on the rights of trafficked women irrespective of place of origin.
The document outlines the necessity of an equality assessment on prosecution irrespective of the ethnicity and race of victims. The document is in the public domain and can be downloaded here.
