CHASTE is involved with churches across the world working in resistance to trafficking for sexual exploitation. The reasons for sexual exploitation and its extreme abuse in the global movement of young women, children and men for sexual exploitation requires the full attention of societies concerned to express justice and loving attention to each other as full human beings.

This year we are launching Not For Sale Sunday which will be a tremendous opportunity for churches of all denominations across the UK to become informed and prayerfully attuned to the needs of women, children and men who are sexually abused and exploited in this country and across the world because of violence, lust and greed.

In Christian tradition interventions for social justice and the dignity of the person  has been affirmed through the liturgy of the church, where the potential of our full humanity lived in the light of the kingdom of God is expressed. Not for Sale Sunday May 20th has developed particular resources which can be downloaded for your church or personal use from www.notforsalesunday.org. An accompanying Anthology will be published in September 2007.

On these Liturgy pages we shall be posting some examples of contemporary liturgy which is life giving and confronts the dehumanisation which takes place wherever someone is pimped for sexual exploitation.

If you have any contribution to make to these pages please email admin@chaste.org.uk and we shall see if we can incorporate it into the growing on line resource for change on these pages.
